Fuji is translated as Wisteria floribunda in English. Fuji is known for its long, dense, drooping cluster of purplish and pea shaped flowers. It accounts for a great deal of graceful beauty to the Japanese landscape of the season where it may be seen and admired on walls and arbors, along the eaves of porches, or in public or shrine gardens.
