[Konpeito Wasurena-gusa / Small]
Japanese phrase, WASURE-NA-GUSA, can be translated as Forget-Me-Not in English while in Chinese it is the same as Japanese one. The origin of the name evolves around a German legend that is related to this flower. It is said that while a certain young man was gathering these flowers for his girl friend (lover), he fell into a river and while he was being swallowed up by the river's current he threw the flowers onto the riverside and pleaded to his lover, "Don't forget me." It is said in Europe that its grass is used for the treatment of Lungs as is known publicly. The flower language of blue WASURE-NA-GUSA is true love.
