The Japanese product name is OSUMITSUKI-NO- RAKKASEI. Peanuts empowered with charcoal! Edible charcoal has just attracted a great deal of public attention in Japan. Peanuts are coated with a mixture of powdered edible binchotan(the finest white charcoal made from a specific kind of oak tree; a local specialty of the Kishu-Wakayama-Tanabe area) and glutinous rice, and then crisped. Enjoy the flavor and the texture of crispy roasted peanuts.
